Chris’ passion for hunting began
as a child, while accompanying his dad on various trips a
field. Chris harvested his first squirrel at age 6 with
his BB gun, and hasn’t stopped hunting since. His first
deer came at age 9, and his first turkey at 12. Chris
always kept a special calendar in his room marking off the
days to the opening of each season. With each passing
year, Chris’ anticipation grew even stronger. With scattered
success early on in his life, he says “I probably didn’t become
a true hunter until after I had graduated high school. I was
always so involved with sports, that it consumed most of my
time. But I was always able to make a few special memories
each year.”
Hunting has always been a lifelong ambition for Chris. There
is nothing he would rather do, whether behind or in front
of the camera, than call up that old tom in the spring or
witness a whitetail coming into bow range. "It is a special
treat being with a friend or team member and sharing the experience
with them and our viewers alike. I never realized how hard
it was to video a hunt. However, when we are successful it
makes all the effort and hard work worthwhile. I am learning
new things every day, and hope to continue.”
Chris is a valuable part of Reality Outdoor Productions team.
He is an avid archer, as well as an expert marksman with a
rifle and handgun. He has 22 years experience hunting
deer and 16 years with a bow. He is an excellent turkey
caller. He has often been encouraged to enter some calling
contest. His reply is “I do my contest calling in the woods!”
Chris has become a excellent videographer, and is constantly
striving to become even better. He has grown to have as much
fun filming as he does hunting. With this being said, you
will not find a better brother of the sport than Chris. We
are glad he is a part of our team.
