Brian’s first hunting trip took place
when he was eight years old as he accompanied his grandfather
in pursuit of squirrels. Even though Brian failed to
see any squirrels, he did have the experience of a 6-point
whitetail buck walking within 20 yards of the tree of which
they had taken cover. “It was a great and exciting feeling
as I felt the adrenaline surge through my body,” Brian said,
“It was my first experience with buck fever”. From that
day forward, Brian knew whitetails would be on his hunting
list.
Since then, Brian has pursued
and harvested numerous big bucks throughout his 26 years of
hunting. In the last several years, hunting “Big Bucks”
has become a quest. A trophy hunter at heart, Brian’s
motto is, “You got to let the small bucks go so they can grow
up to reach their fullest potential.” When not hunting, you
can find Brian behind the camera. “Learning how to hunt
along with a video camera and camera man has been challenging”,
Brian says, “I learn something new every time I pick the camera
up.”
